Graduate Counseling/Social Work/Higher Education Internship
We provide a well-supervised internship experience for graduate students in counseling, social work and higher education programs, which prepares students to work in a college counseling environment. Interns dedicate 16 - 20 hours per week (depending on the intern’s training needs). The student contact component of the internship includes individual appointments, workshops/group work, drop-in counseling, general outreach, data tracking and projects/special assignments. The specific mix will shift slightly depending upon which graduate program students are associated with. Counseling students can earn hours towards both college and career specializations and emphases. Please contact email@example.com for more information.
Spring-Summer Part-Time Work
We offer a couple of part-time student assistant positions. After students are trained on the policies and processes around the Early Start program, they will assist in responding to student inquiries (email, phone, and in person) as well as assist students during summer orientations. The positions are for 15-20 hours a week and run from April to early August. Students must commit for the whole span of time and be able to arrive at 8am sharp during certain days in summer.
